Our mission is to save lives by meeting the most critical needs in our communities and investing in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer. Susan G. Komen is the ONLY organization that addresses breast cancer on multiple fronts such as research, community health, global outreach and public policy initiatives in order to make the biggest impact against this disease. Accelerating discoveries to save lives and improve outcomes for everyone. Research is the only way to find the cures for breast cancer. With more than 100,000 survivors and activists, we are the world’s largest, most progressive grassroots network of people fighting to end breast cancer forever. Susan G. Komen® offers financial assistance programs for individuals undergoing breast cancer treatment, including help with medical costs, transportation, lodging, and child and elder care. The Susan G. Komen Breast Care Helpline provides information about breast health, breast cancer, local and national resources and information about clinical trials. Through our research program, Komen awards grants to support cutting-edge breast cancer research that will provide the greatest benefit to patients. We’re focused on conquering metastatic and aggressive breast cancers, advancing personalized breast care and eliminating breast cancer disparities and inequities. Our goal is to improve breast health care and outcomes for everyone and save lives.
