The Belgian Heart Ligue

The Belgian Heart League works at the national level to reduce the impact of cardiovascular diseases on morbidity and mortality among the Belgian population. To do so, it distributes scientific information about risk factors and diseases through brochures, posters, press releases and campaigns. The main goal of the Belgian Heart League is to encourage a maximum of people to live a healthy lifestyle and get their needed medical follow-up. In that context, raising awareness about cholesterol and FH is crucial, considering the lack of general knowledge around those topics and their prevalence among the population.
