The AdP eV
In 1976, the difficult situation after a pancreas operation gave those affected the idea of founding the working group of pancreatectomists (AdP) in Heidelberg under the motto "Help through self-help".
The aim of the AdP is to promote the health and rehabilitation of partial and total pancreatectomized and non-operated pancreatic patients with special consideration of pancreatic cancer patients and their relatives.
Today the Working Group of Pancreatectomists e. V., with its more than 1,550 members, is a self-help organization for all patients who have or are suspected to have pancreatic carcinoma or another pancreatic disease.
