Paula Takacs Foundation For Sarcoma Research
The Paula Takacs Foundation for Sarcoma Research has been a champion for sarcoma research and awareness since its founding in 2010 by Paula Takacs during her courageous battle with the disease. Sarcoma is a rare cancer, accounting for only 1% of adult cancers and 15% of childhood cancers, yet it receives significantly less research funding than more common cancers, slowing progress in treatment and survival. Determined to change this reality, the foundation has raised millions to support innovative sarcoma research at Levine Cancer Institute and Levine Children’s Hospital. These funds help drive advancements in treatment and diagnostics, opening pathways to better outcomes. Beyond research, the foundation amplifies awareness to accelerate progress in the fight against sarcoma.
