Since 1987, we have impacted more than 130,000 lives through cell therapy, developing services and technologies used by transplant experts worldwide. Our mission is to save lives through cell therapy and create a world where every patient can receive their life-saving cell therapy. NMDP is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives through cell therapy. They focus on treating and curing blood cancers and other blood disorders by finding suitable donors for blood stem cell transplants and supporting patients throughout the transplant process. They also conduct research and run clinical trials to improve treatments and outcomes. NMDP saves lives through cell therapy. NMDP is dedicated to saving lives of patients who depend on us through access to life-saving cell therapy. NMDP is entrusted and under contract to operate the federally authorized C.W. Bill Young Cell Transplantation Program, providing support and resources for patients and families affected by blood disorders. Dedicated to helping patients navigate their journey through blood and marrow transplants, providing resources, support, and advocacy for patients and families. NMDP provides support and guidance for patients undergoing blood stem cell transplants, offering resources for preparation, financial assistance, caregiver support, and life after transplant. The Donor for All initiative aims to safely unlock access to blood stem cell transplant through many innovative research efforts using partially matched donors, giving every patient a better chance at receiving life-saving treatment. NMDP celebrates AANHPI Heritage Month and honors the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander (AANHPI) trailblazers who have shaped culture and history. The organization focuses on blood stem cell donation as a cure or treatment for over 75 different blood cancers and disorders, emphasizing the importance of matching donors with similar ethnic backgrounds.
