Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance (LBCA)
The Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance (LBCA) is a national non-profit organization with a network of health care professionals. We are patients, volunteers, advocates, and breast cancer clinicians and researchers actively collaborating to increase knowledge of invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC), also known as lobular breast cancer, and promote and fund ILC research. The Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance (LBCA) aims to raise awareness of invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC) and its unique characteristics, the critical need for more ILC research, and to be the go-to source for information on ILC studies, clinical trials, and educational tools. They foster partnerships among patients, scientists, clinicians, and breast cancer organizations to increase dialogue about ILC and research advocacy, and fund vital ILC research. The LBCA has compiled a reference list of research publications related to lobular breast cancer, also known as invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC). The library contains nearly 300 studies from the year 2000 to the present.
