Global Liver Institute

Global Liver Institute aims to improve the lives of individuals and families impacted by liver disease through promoting innovation, encouraging collaboration, and scaling optimal approaches to help eradicate liver diseases. It seeks to make liver health awareness universal and to elevate liver disease on the global public health agenda. The organization was founded with a patient-centered approach, emphasizing collaboration, integrity, inclusion, and results. It has established councils for liver cancers, fatty liver disease, and pediatric and rare liver diseases to unite stakeholders and address critical issues. The institute engages in campaigns such as Rare Liver Diseases Month, Global Fatty Liver Day, Liver Health is Public Health, and #OctoberIs4Livers, focusing on awareness, education, prevention, detection, and survivorship of liver diseases.
