FHchol Austria is a non-profit patient organisation for patients with Familial Hypercholesterolaemia or related genetic metabolic disorders. It is our stated goal and vision to prevent cardiovascular diseases attributable to FH. We raise awareness of FH and point out that FH can lead to atherosclerosis as early as childhood. We also advocate for the earliest possible diagnosis and optimal treatment for FH sufferers - true to our motto: Knowing about FH can save lives!
